Biography
Pelin Özgöçen is a Turkish artist who was born in 1979 in Istanbul. She obtained a Master's Degree in drawing at the University of Fine Arts of Mimar Sinan,Turkey, in 2006. She is curently pursuing a Ph.D in drawing.
She works as a estauration expert and curator of works of art at the University of Fine Arts of Mimar Sinan. In parallel, she also practices painting with an approach to the image of women, beauty and the idea of multiple personalities. She represents portraits of strong and mysterious women, playing with bright colors, the intensity of their looks and the doubling of the faces in a unique and immediately recongnizable style.
