Abel Bourgeois was born in Paris in 1965, autodidact author-photographer he practices photography since childhood and lives today in the French Basque Country. Trained as a cabinetmaker, always in search of simplicity, he never ceases to construct new photographic tools for himself: pinhole cameras, chambers, even the manufacture of objectives with water lenses. With them, it is as an assiduous photographer and in front of atypical landscapes that he works on effects, blurs, optical distortions allowing him to project beyond the captured image, an atmosphere, an atmosphere that can be grab the viewer to create their own universe ...
