Description
This captivating work presents a seated human figure, dressed in vibrant red, against a richly contrasting background of pink and red. The artist uses bold lines to define the figure's contours, whose blue skin intrigues with its otherworldly appearance. The intense color choices and striking contrast reflect an exploration of inner emotions and identity. A white pump with red heels, casually placed on the floor, adds a dimension of mystery and perhaps symbolizes a quest for glamour or femininity. The minimalist yet textured setting skillfully frames the subject while leaving room for personal interpretation. Young Parisian artist, Xavier de Vilmorin invites you to join his colorful, dreamy and nostalgic universe illustrated by acrylic, oil and dry pastel paintings.
He discovered his passion for drawing at a very young age. But it was during his second year at animation school that he painted his first canvas, in the depths of the 17th arrondissement.
Known for his personal style, he combines simple geometric shapes with bold hues.
