In Pascal Herrmann's paintings, there is this fascination with the plant and mineral world that takes us on an endless journey, crossing the paths of our beautiful region, where green unites with blue, where movement rubs shoulders with form, where peace predominates over possible movements.
His painting of nature also expresses this luxuriance of plants and flowers, which are like a dull nostalgia for a time when it reigned without concern for climatic catastrophes and other atrocious pollution.
Pascal Herrmann tries to translate his emotion in the face of the 4 elements he encounters, most often in his walking trips. It becomes a pretext for interpretation on the canvas, where, if we let ourselves go on a journey, music and sounds accompany the gaze. The painter uses oil, acrylic and inks as mediums, they are often superimposed on the same painting in several translucent layers, thus giving depth to his compositions.
