Biography
Samuel Maita provides through his work a fresh look into printmaking, while approaching diverse themes; some inspired in the Andean cultures, and others dealing with explorations of our nature as humans in a social context. He has explored new textures through chromoxylography and dry point, using alternative materials; and gone one step further by applying these strategies to create a series of miniature woodblock prints.
