A visual artist, Jean Jacques Pigeon's mediums are drawing, painting, sculpture, in-situ work and light on supports such as paper, canvas, wood, walls or space. He draws inspiration from nature, using leaves, branches or twigs to paint or construct fairly minimalist volume works, sometimes close to architecture. There is a tension in his work between the geometric and the organic, between austerity and the sensual, and he does not hesitate to draw inspiration from the history of ancient or recent art. He creates unique works of art that can be of modest or monumental dimensions for public or private commissions or for companies in France and abroad.

His artistic work places a large emphasis on the search for subtle associations of colors, without excluding black and white. It shows an original view of the world in general and nature in particular. He seeks to reflect the beauty of the world, far from its worries, as if to escape them.
