This abstract artwork features a striking juxtaposition of colors and shapes. On the left, a wide dark band evokes depth and darkness, contrasting sharply with the warm, bright hues in the center and right. In the center, a shapeless mass of beige and black appears to float, surrounded by layers of bright yellow and olive green, adding a sense of mystery. Thin white lines trace imprecise contours, creating a sense of movement and transformation. The colors red and yellow, though subtle, bring a vibrant warmth that draws the eye. The uniqueness of this work lies in its ability to evoke emotions through the pure use of color and shape, without relying on recognizable representations. A harmonious balance between chaos and order emerges, captivating and stimulating the imagination.

Presentation
Working from a live model or on location, I let presence guide the gesture before light, textures and contrasts transform the image into a vibrating experience. Layers overlap, rubbing and moving the material brings out the subject, without premeditation.
Over the past ten years, my painting has evolved: starting with more illustrated or sometimes abstract canvases, it has gradually shifted towards more expressive compositions, where the material occupies a central place. Today, I can thus present works that range from abstraction to illustration, to canvases where the expressiveness of gesture and texture dominate.
My painting is part of an approach I call: privileging the sensitive, letting the material speak. Through it, I explore inner silence in the face of the tumult of the world, in a quest for authenticity and connection with the essential.
For over ten years, my work has evolved from illustrated or abstract works to more expressive compositions, where matter becomes central. Between abstraction, illustration, and sensory expressionism, my painting explores what I call sensualism: capturing the essence of reality while letting matter and gesture reveal the authenticity of the subject.
