Biography
Patrick Caulfield (1936-2005) was a British painter and printmaker associated with the Pop Art movement. Born in London, he studied at the Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art. Caulfield's distinctive style combined elements of graphic design, flat color areas, and bold outlines. He often depicted everyday objects and interiors with a sense of irony and detachment. Caulfield's works were characterized by their precision and meticulous attention to detail.
