Description
This lens features walnut wood with natural and warm tones. It reveals its veins, testifying to the passage of time, giving the work an organic and timeless depth. In contrast, silver metallic scales emerge partially due to the combustion of the wood, creating a visual dialogue between two materials that are one: wood. The base ensures a refined presentation, allowing this sculptural piece to float delicately but also to be oriented as desired. YaNn Perrier questions the degraded fragments of nature in personal fictions. Each of its spheres, a colored and shimmering well, is a kind of optical instrument for the use of dreamers which builds an attractive - and the word will undoubtedly please him - utopia. It is stronger that we touch the sculptures, we lean to look inside, to follow the paths of light. “With this poetic work, life is really very simple: each sphere proposed by the sculptor brilliantly establishes the infinite power of the present moment, of the light of the moment. YaNn picks a piece of nature, works it, pigments it before pouring it into the resin to finish by sanding and polishing it. The realization of his art is then revealed by transparency. Objects of fascination, the spheres of nature are rare and unique pieces. YaNn is new to the gallery.
