Description
This artwork is an enigmatic abstract piece, characterized by a mesmerizing interplay of dark hues and subtle textures. Predominantly featuring shades of black, gray, and hints of white, it creates a sense of mystery and depth. The fluidity in the composition evokes images of a stormy landscape or celestial phenomena, inviting viewers to explore its layers. The skillful use of contrast highlights dynamic movement, while the intricate patterns suggest a balance between chaos and harmony. The work's atmospheric quality and bold intensity make it a compelling focal point, encouraging contemplation and interpretation. Unique and evocative, this piece stands as a testament to the artist's command of abstraction and their ability to convey powerful emotions through minimalistic yet impactful means. It is an invitation to immerse oneself in a visual journey, discovering new meanings with each gaze.
Presentation
Enric Correa is a self-taught artist whose work explores the relationship between color, matter, and emotional territory. His artistic language lies between atmospheric abstraction and a poetics of layers, where texture and light construct landscapes that evoke memory, geology, and transformation. Through constant research, he combines acrylics, enamels, sprays, and textural materials to create deep and vibrant surfaces that reinterpret Nature from an intimate and sensory perspective.
In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include expressive figuration—especially birds—which extends his abstract universe into new forms of energy and presence. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Barcelona, as well as national art fairs and competitions, and his work has been recognized by the Esart Gallery (Barcelona), the Accademia Internazionale Greci-Marino (Italy), and various international platforms. He has also been featured in specialized publications such as Revistart.
