News from Eéa
'In the time of the last cosmogony, I inquired about Eéa
In the midst of the water, an island surrounded by mist seemed to appear,
expanding or contracting.
The entire place, as we approached, deceived our senses,
the silhouette of a tree becoming a nymph dancing,
and the mirage disappeared again,
it was only an animal humbly scratching its belly.
The sailors finally set foot on land, and the grand inventory
of blood and ether
could begin on the island of Eéa:
Farewell calf, cow, pig, brood,
hello fauns, spirits, gods... Circe,
the enchantress, empress of these places,
seemed to reconcile all things with her simple wish.
The fertile seeds of the last revolt
had magically ended up here,
and the brood of the Titans, in a strange way,
prospered in a thousand and one creatures.
A new era was rising in Eéa,
Polyphemus, now a gentleman, served the sweet wine of the Cyclopes in a carafe,
Poseidon, rejuvenated, slept not far from there,
a laughing faun, in turn, finished his meal...
Myths under the weight of the years, completely shattered,
the tales, one by one, fell asleep,
and the grand tapestry of legends had to be reworked
since Ouranos in his fall had compromised them.
From the base and with the help of Hecate,
it was necessary to rewrite time and capture the winds,
while giving free rein to the fertile imagination
of the somewhat crazy witch that Ulysses had in his idyll.
Thus, in Eéa, everything could be reborn,
and from this distant island, I could become a priest.'
