Cheraine Collette: Limitless

Amsterdam From February 8, 2024 to March 13, 2024

Presentation

Villa del Arte Galleries in Amsterdam present the photomontage series "Limitless" by Cheraine Collette. The photographs belonging to this series have obtained numerous awards in the art world and in Villa del Arte we believe that they successfully reflect the talent of the artist. Not only they are an obvious example of the artist's technical skills put together in an elegant composition, but also of her creative process and warm heart.

The series "Limitless" is an ode to Nature as the infinite source of inspiration for humanity. Nature has always made mankind dream beyond their limitations and has inspired them to exceed their boundaries. Humans fly through the sky like birds, speed beyond the fastest cheetah and discover the depths of the ocean beyond the limit of whales. This exhibition encourages visitors to ask themselves: How would humankind be without the natural treasures that make us dream and exceed beyond our limits? Are we pushing our limits as humans to meet nature's?
