With Free Figures, H.D Galerie brings together five unique universes around an open, instinctive and deeply living contemporary figuration.

The exhibition brings together the works of Xavier de Vilmorin, Riz Riz Rizz, Robin Obitz, Silvio Mildo and the Low Bros, five practices which, each in their own way, question the place of the figure in today's painting.

Here, the figuration is never fixed. It becomes language, rhythm, memory, energy. It crosses bodies, faces, signs, colors and interior architectures. It tells as much about what we see as what we feel.

In Xavier de Vilmorin, the figure seems to be born from an inner world, between softness, tension and poetry. Its colorful shapes compose sensitive, almost mental presences, where the intimate takes the form of an emotional landscape.

With Riz Riz Rizz, painting becomes movement, density, vibration. His characters, his scenes and his compositions carry a solar, free, almost ritual energy, where color acts as a vital force.

Robin Obitz develops an immediate and expressive pictorial writing, nourished by gesture, instinct and narration. His works summon a spontaneous, direct figuration, where each form seems to emerge with urgency.

In Silvio Mildo, the figure takes on a raw and poetic intensity. His work explores a fragmented humanity, crossed by emotions, memories and the tensions of everyday life.

Christoph and Florin Schmidt, formerly Low Bros, develop graphic representation nourished by graffiti, design and digital culture. Their works, between geometry, vibrant colors and urban imagination, question the forms of post-digital life with a tone that is both playful and bittersweet.

Through these five perspectives, Free Figures offers a journey through current figuration: an uninhibited, sensitive, hybrid figuration, between painting, urban culture, intimate memory and collective energy.

An exhibition like a dialogue between artists who do not seek to represent reality as it is, but to reveal its invisible forces, colors, fractures and impulses.
