Presentation

Sara Stewart Brown was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975. She is an artist trained in Visual Arts at the National University of Art and specialized in Engraving. In 2016, he began to work with paper-cut techniques and developed his own technique of reliefs on paper. His "Papelitos de Colores" series began as an aesthetic concern with the paper explosions that occur when confetti flies. Along the same lines, the Monochrome series explores the movement of lights and shadows. In 2019, he broadened his exploration of this technique by integrating new materials into the Copper and Aluminum series. In 2021 he adds works made with 1 dollar bills and with cerebral magnetic resonance plates, finally in 2022 he returns to colors, this time with PVC lighting filters that incorporate color into reflected shadows .
