El Toni

Toni Ibáñez, a Bolivian painter, born in 1984. He currently reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina, He is an Industrial engineer by profession, for him it is a privilege to decide himself to painting. 

Artist statement

In the search for 'my own', the styles I have chosen to express myself are mixed, the subjects of inspiration are mixed, traditional art is experienced with a current and contemporary approach. It is here where different cultures meet, where an Italian car can meet a Japanese Geisha and toast with an American cocktail or a dragon with a pizza and it is there where Ukiyo-e merges with impressionism in the work of this Bolivian artist.
