Description
Oil painting on canvas, a mixture of styles, a meeting of cultures, a celebration for having achieved a dream. My
first exhibition in Argentina, I present this work, I chose the De Tomaso Pantera sports car to which I added an
ukiyo-e style design, a geisha holding a dry martini to give the mix a touch. This work is enjoyment, it is a party, it is the achievement of exhibiting for the first time in person abroad, although I have already lived in Argentina for 7 years, it is being able to dedicate myself to what I love, that represents, since when I first arrived in Buenos Aires I was a bartender.

Presentation
Toni Ibáñez, a Bolivian painter, born in 1984. He currently reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina, He is an Industrial engineer by profession, for him it is a privilege to decide himself to painting.
Artist statement
In the search for 'my own', the styles I have chosen to express myself are mixed, the subjects of inspiration are mixed, traditional art is experienced with a current and contemporary approach. It is here where different cultures meet, where an Italian car can meet a Japanese Geisha and toast with an American cocktail or a dragon with a pizza and it is there where Ukiyo-e merges with impressionism in the work of this Bolivian artist.
