Herman Normoid (1966) works mostly with pure pigments, acrylic binders on mdf. His works are almost all executed with flat mason spatulas through which he tries to minimize the effect of the conscious part of his mind by freeing the subconscious. His beginnings are marked by a reinterpretation of Action Painting and Abstract Expressionism, and then he reaches the pure expressionism of his fantastic views and faces strictly in shades of gray.
We’re sorry but the artist doesn’t currently have any exhibitions.
