Sabrina Napangardi Granites

Sabrina Napangardi Granites is an Australian Aboriginal artist of the Warlpiri people, born in 1995 and living in the community of Yuendumu, in the central Australian desert. She is part of the Warlukurlangu Aboriginal Artists Cooperative in Yuendumu, where she has been painting since 1997.

Sabrina is the daughter of Alma Nungarrayi Granites (1955-2017), and the granddaughter of Paddy Japaljarri Sims (1917-2010) and Bessie Nakamarra Sims (1932-2012), two of the founding artists of the historic Warlukurlangu Aboriginal Artists' Cooperative. She is married and has two daughters.

Sabrina paints the creation stories, or Dreamings, passed down to her by her grandfather and grandmother. These are Mina Mina Jukurrpa (Mina Mina's Dreaming), Karntakurlangu Jukurrpa (Women's Dreaming), and Ngalyipi Jukurrpa (Snake Vine Dreaming).
