MrX traces his path off the beaten track: from the urban bomb to the poetry of nature, his art questions and gives new life to what we no longer look at.
Biography
Born in 1980 on a military base in Germany, MrX spent his early years watching a black and white television screen. The 2008 banking crisis and the loss of his job would lead to a radical career change. With this new path came the discovery of color.
Initially, urban influences led him to use the spray can as a creative element. Today, the spray can is merely a medium, and urban influences have given way to more environmental sources of inspiration.
Fauna and flora are staged to change perspectives and provide food for thought about our place as humans within this strange house of cards that is the food pyramid. A self-taught artist, he constantly explores new ways of creating, recovering what surrounds him and giving it new life. Equally at home on large walls and on small objects that he customizes, MrX also devotes himself to curating artistic events.
