Wouter Hoste lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
After graduating at the Antwerp Fashion Academy in 1987, he moved to Paris where he designed Jean-Paul Gaultier’s Junior collection. In the early nineties, he returned to Belgium to work for various Belgian fashion labels. Wouter Hoste’s style is very graphical.
Wouter Hoste has always had a passion for ceramic and is a collector. He created a series of ceramic works in the same line as his gashion designs.
Wouter works at the Perignem workshop in Berneem, a famous place for Flemish ceramics. He is inspired by the Arts&Crafts movement and in love with handmade ceramic art.
The quality of his works is unique, and their finishes are quite rare.
