Alberto Saleh is a Belgian artist, born in Antwerp in 1974, in a Lebanese family.
Everything began on his thirteenth birthday, he received a camera for his birthday present. Even though he worked as a diamond merchant, his passion for photography developed through the years and he works portraits, landscapes but is mostly fascinated by the world during night time, celebrations around the works like in U.S.A, but also Paris, Jerusalem, Amsterdam or even Antwerp.
Eventually, he decides to devote himself to silver film photography, working with black and white and slowly decorating his works with neon art elements. He mainly develops in his studio, at the heart of the city, Antwerp.
His work has been exhibited in several personal and collective exhibitions and he participated in the Rencontres de la Photographie at Arles in 2015.
