Biography
Hamilton Aguiar was born in 1965 in Brazil. He studied painting and restauration of artworks, and then moved to the United States.
He developed a minimalist style and an original chromatic technique. He combines the old art of gilding, metallic foil and patina treated with acid, finishing with liquid resin which gives it a delicate finish. His pieces are full of light and harmony, a research which is the product of an spiritual artistic approach.
Hamilton Aguiar's work has been exhibited all throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
