Mariana MeryMax

Mariana Mateva was born on 09.07.1962. She is an artist working in the fields of painting, illustration and applied graphics.

“Since graduating from the Institute of Fine Arts Nikolay Pavlovich I have also worked as a teacher in children's schools and the South-West University's Department of Fine Arts. I have 15 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, also a member of the UBA.

I work with decorative illustrative styles incorporating fantastic with elements of secession.

I also do work in the fields of portraiture and vibrant art.

I'm an art graduate but I've been painting and my soul belongs to form, colors and ideas since I was a child. My credo is “create beauty, love and harmony".

It is important to me to fill the creative space with life, inspiration and positivity.

I'm most inspired when I can create happiness around me. Also, when I'm happy, then I do my best work. For me, art is a way of life and communication. I use mixed techniques acrylic, pastes, oil and acrylic inks. I'm working with canvas using professional grade materials."
