Silvia Popova

Silvia Koeva-Popova graduated from Veliko Tarnovo University - Fine Arts-Paintingin 2009. Lives in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. Silvia works mostly in the field of painting, using digital processes.

"The landscape is a way to investigate the unknown, to understand a part of the space, but also to open up for new experiences. In my practise I try to depict multiple layers of matter overlapping each other. Behind the fabric of the memory another image appears, entwines with another one and then another one. I explore the possibilities of the landscape as a means for understanding space-time and my own consciousness."
