Biography
Georgi Vassilev (born in 1996) completed his secondary education at the „Tsanko Lavrenov“ National School of Art in his hometown of Plovdiv, majoring in graphics. He studied at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia (book and printed graphics), then did a semester in the Erasmus program at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle with an art book. Some of the projects such as the book "THE INCREDIBLE FACTORY" participate in several art book exhibitions.
Georgi is currently working in the field of graphic design (PUNKT studio) as an illustrator. Currently, his interests are mainly in independent publications and especially in illustration in the form of quick and playful ideas with a touch of satire. Georgi is also interested in internet mime culture, the connection between music and image and finding the perfect angle of different human faces, from which they would visually look the funniest.
