Biography

Born in 1953 in Winnipeg (Canada) of German parents, Frank Zeidler was convinced from an early age of his artistic vocation. His mother, an artist herself, introduced him to drawing, telling him that if you can draw the human body, you can draw anything.

In 1971, he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia (UBC, Vancouver, Canada) and then continued his studies in this direction in Vienna (Austria), Winnipeg (Canada) and again in Vancouver where he obtained his diploma of Professor of Art under the direction of the famous Canadian artist Gordon Smith.

Despite the underlying presence of art throughout his life, Frank Zeidler chose a more down to earth path and eventually made his career in the field of engineering.

At the start of the 1980s, he essentially turned to drawing as a means of expressing his creativity.
