Born (1991) in Saint-Pascal Quebec, Canada, Marie-Chloé Duval lives a life as bold and contrasting as her artwork. Before being a full-time artist, Duval graduated in criminology. Her thesis redaction pushed her to express her vision of our society and humanity through a medium that could speak and connect to the public.
Self-taught, Duval gradually developed her visual identity and followed a photographic journey before moving toward a full-time career in painting. The artist first took part to several group shows and was offered her first Solo at Berger Cultural center in 2016. Her first participation at the Kamouraska Art symposium was successful as her work received various prices. In 2017, Duval was invited to do a live painting performance at the McCord museum Numeric Spring Night. From this moment, companies started to associate themselves to Duval.
