Biography
HOARKOR is a duo, formed by the artists Hoar and Kor in 2010. Both of them are from Montreal, this street art duo graduated from the Concordia University. Their work is inspired by their city.
"We are two visual artists, HOAR and KOR, we work as a team to turn our individual aesthetics into one", say the artists together.
The duo uses several mediums: spray painting, painting, drawing,silkscreen painting, installation, collage...Their inspiration is nourished by the popular culture, graffiti, animated drawings and comics. All these make up a playful creations, filled with contextual references.
Their work is exhibited outside, on walls, inside several galleries....The 'Centre de diffusion Presse Papier", opened their doors to the duo for an exhibition in 2016.
