Biography
Renaud Cayla was born on June 30, 1958 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Universities of Aix, Vincennes and Censier, cinema department.
In 1983 obtained the diploma of cinema at the National School Louis Lumière.
Practice of watercolor on pattern.
In 1986, painting technique at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris with Mr. Abraham Pincas (tempera, pastel, oil, gilding).
From 1987 to 1992, regular follow-up of the drawing courses in Paris (tempera, ink).
Practice of etching at the Atelier " Boulevard Belleville" (aquatint, drypoint).
Lives in Aix-en-Provence, then in the Lot district. First research on abstraction.
Back to Paris. Work the china ink around imaginary & fantasy landscapes.
