Presentation

A student at the Ecole du Louvre, Marie Olivier began her career with François-Joseph Graf, a Parisian architect and interior designer for demanding clients such as Pierre Bergé. Then a graphic designer at Artcurial, she had inspiring encounters with major actors of the 20th century, such as Claude and François Xavier Lalanne.

Today, Marie is an artist-painter whose work on materials and colors leaves a great deal of mystery and imagination. She is the fruit of a childhood bathed in an endemic nature of the Caribbean, which allowed her to enrich her artistic culture. After drawing at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rueil-Malmaison, she turned to watercolour, then acrylic.

Recognized for her artistic sensibility, she created the set for Camille Richaud's "magic of the cello" show, which brought together dance and music classes from the regional conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison.

His work of the abstract is the mixture, of an artistic culture inspired by masters of color like Sonia Delaunay, Nicolas de Stael, as well as the lyrical abstracts Zao Wou-Ki and Chu Teh-Chun, but also of his meeting with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, during her humanitarian engagements.

Marie paints today within the collective of painters of the Atelier Contrastes, while seeking more visibility to share her work.
