Biography
Born in France in 1968, David Coppieters is the son and grandson of photographers. It was therefore obvious and self-taught that he embarked on this field. His images belong to different worlds, from fashion photography and pictures from trips, to wedding photographies. He currently lives and works in Roubaix. In 2011, it was during a trip to the United States that the goal of the artist switched from fashion to travelling.
To be more specific, the artist became fascinated about the line and architecture of American buildings. He travels across American soils with the intoxication of a passionate photographer, thirsty for beautiful images. "As soon as I set foot on American soil, a singular hysteria took possesion of me... " says the artist. Through each image, the artist depicts America the way he sees it.
