Presentation
François Dupuis was born in Chatou in 1961. Both a painter, sculptor and engraver for more than 30 years, he first worked in black and white before returning to his first love, namely color which he loved practiced during his training at the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques and then at the Beaux Arts in Paris. It was there that he began to take an interest in the human figure and representation in all its forms, which he still considers to be the fundamental object of his research.
Thus, he has the art of magnifying the simple things in life, a still life, a waiting armchair, an open window towards a spring garden, or even a crossed look, through the use of different techniques. Each medium then allows him to enrich and decline his subject with a different sensitivity.
