Valer Graffiti

Valerian Desnoyers is an artist from Nancy who began graffiti on the sly about twenty years ago. At the beginning of 2000, he stopped hiding by taking on the pseudonym of Valer. Involved in numerous events in France, Luxembourg and Germany, over the years he has become an active member of the world of graffiti.

Alternating today between wall frescoes and works on canvas executed in the studio, this autodidact presents an exhibition in his image. The Chauffoir room clearly shows its taste for the tag (or stylized signature). He developed a unique style with sculptural and futuristic forms.

Result of a project carried out in collaboration with nearly 250 pupils and students from Nancy, Valer presents in the Rosenkrantz room a set of graffiti paintings in honor of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall.
