Katia Villard

Graduated in Plastic Arts from the University of Provence in Aix en Provence. Artistic recognition: Member of the Academy of Arts Sciences and Letters Cotation Drouott. She began her artistic career in the 2000s. Her approach stems from an intimate reflection on human nature in relation to its environment. She tackles the themes of loneliness, freedom, appearances... Particularly interested in philosophical reading and surrealist painting, Katia is constantly looking for plastic codes that highlight my poetic and symbolic universe. She uses classic techniques of free figuration by mixing glazes, fades and overlays with acrylic. Invents a world of his own in which doubt and mystery hover.
