Biography
A weaver from the age of 18, she combined gold thread, trimmings and steel in her works and clothes, and very quickly began to sell internationally... Lisa Minard turned to painting 30 years ago. The fibre and colours of her textiles can be found there. Her search for original supports led her to fibreglass, because its finesse enchanted her and it quickly became part of contemporary decors. The antique papers on her canvases mark the timelessness of unique landscapes and objects.
