About Christophe Rollin

Born in 1973, Christophe Rollin lives and works near Amiens, in Hauts de France. After studying civil engineering, and 25 years spent in the interior decoration company he created himself, he returned to sculpture in 2021.

The hidden side of things.

Through his work, the artist seeks to portray anthropocentrism. “Man often reduces what surrounds him to a potential resource over which he has all the rights. Science and technological progress have brought a lot to our societies, but have also led us to no longer accept life as it is. Human beings want to control everything: matter, living things, aging, time, their image." Is there a point of balance between fatalism and free will?
