Dominique Cahier

Born in 1953, I have been practicing photography since the age of 12.
My models were Jean Loup Sieff and William Klein in photography and Mark Rothko in painting.
In 1975, I participated in the creation of the gallery editions and the Contrejour magazine in Paris.
I was published in 2020 in Zoom International and in the American magazine Inspired Eye Magazine.

Until 2018, I only took black and white photos, then I started to introduce a little color and since 2022 abstraction in color and in large and very large formats (between 1.20m and 2.00m).
I did two exhibitions in 2024:
Krizalid Gallery Store in Royan
Concept Store Galerie Le Comptoir in Valence d'Agen.
In August 2024, publication of a book "Photograph Like a Painter"

I live and work in Arvert in Charente Maritime.
