I paint good men, good women ... but above all looks, expressions ... I try to translate states of mind. I play on the poetic, enigmatic or humorous side of the characters. Under these faces hides human fragility. I tell simple stories, almost a stolen moment, a snapshot. The eye is always there, staring at the viewer the better to catch him. I work on 10 mm medium, by mixing techniques (acrylic, oil pastels, Indian ink, black chalk ...) which allows me great freedom of expression: I can "use" drips, friction, scratching ... without fear of damaging my support.
