Biography

My name is Soraya De Vittoria, I live in Hauts-de-Seine. I am a multidisciplinary painter.

Art has always been present around me since I was very young. I have been passionate about writing, the harmony of colors, shapes and materials since I was little. I come from a manual and avant-garde family which allowed me from my childhood to know my path and to discover the artistic universe. I draw my inspiration from the masters of Italian and Spanish painting (Michelangelo, Francesco Goya...) as well as from pop art.

My professional career began at the age of 14 when I joined a hairdressing school. Following this training, I worked as a hairdresser and makeup artist in Parisian palaces. My career continued by joining the Montmartre Corsetry School, I then worked in the restoration of antique furniture. Currently, I work in the field of engraving and calligraphy on perfume bottles for major fashion houses (Dior, Lancôme, etc.). In order to perfect my art, I joined the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The professions I have practiced are all based on harmony, shaping, aesthetics and elegance; notions that are specific to me, coherence being a guiding thread in my thought patterns as an artist. For a few years now, I have decided to make a living from my art, I exhibit and sell my works on social networks under the artist name (soraya_de_vittoria). Having a childlike side and an artistic sensibility and having always had an attraction to the harmony of colors since the age of four. I practice mixed techniques (collage, transfer etc.) but I mainly paint with my fingers on canvas, textile or even wood...
