Through sensitive figurative painting, Charlotte Cros explores the relationship between gesture, landscape and human experience. A painting of life, where each scene tells a fragment of emotion.
Biography
An artist for 15 years, Charlotte began painting in the French West Indies, thanks to her friend and fellow artist, Anisa Manière. They were neighbors in the pampas. Creation, light, childhood, adventure, family, friendship… freedom. Painting gives her the feeling of capturing simple and true things, the ones you never tire of… Her words on painting: “It guarantees a sweetness of life."
His oil painting technique prioritizes the spontaneity of the gesture and the richness of the material to bring out emotion.
