Description
This captivating work depicts a coastal scene where an individual stands on vast rocky outcrops plunging into a sparkling emerald sea. The plunging perspective accentuates the grandeur of the rocks, evoking a sense of vertigo and infinity. The color palette, blending warm tones of brown and beige with soothing shades of green and blue, creates a striking contrast between the solidity of the rocks and the fluidity of the water. The artist's technique, employing delicate brushstrokes, offers a rich texture and remarkable visual depth. The individual, at the center of the composition, adds a human touch, inviting the viewer to reflect on our place in nature. This canvas skillfully combines dynamism and tranquility, capturing the raw and majestic essence of the coastline.
Presentation
An artist for 15 years, Charlotte began painting in the French West Indies, thanks to her friend and fellow artist, Anisa Manière. They were neighbors in the pampas. Creation, light, childhood, adventure, family, friendship… freedom. Painting gives her the feeling of capturing simple and true things, the ones you never tire of… Her words on painting: “It guarantees a sweetness of life."
His oil painting technique prioritizes the spontaneity of the gesture and the richness of the material to bring out emotion.
