Biography
Thierry Deliveyne has been a painter for over 20 years. He was drawn to painting through his work as a photographer. Self-taught, he has developed original techniques.
Thierry Deliveyne paints intuitive abstract compositions, often very colourful. Here he presents his capillary paintings: the multi-pigment, very fluid colour is covered with a flexible plastic sheet. For chemical and physical reasons, the paint runs between the two layers, the pigments separate and create lines and areas of colour. The process is controlled by manipulating the sheet, which is removed after drying.
The result is always a different and original work of art, which each person feels and interprets in their own way.
