Bronze Sculpture for Sale
To seek, to take, to lose, to regain composure. It's our daily dance, our pas de deux, with others as with ourselves. To hold the posture as one would defend an opinion or a course.
Patrick Vandecasteele is a French figurative painter whose work explores the psychological and social nuances of the human posture. His figures seem suspended in moments of hesitation, balance, and inner tension, suggesting both confrontation and mutual support.
Working primarily in oil on canvas, he explores the body as a site of resilience and uncertainty, where stability and collapse coexist. His paintings do not depict events, but rather create a state of tension, inviting the viewer to confront the subtle instability that underlies the apparent calm of everyday life.
Since 2021 Patrick Vandecasteele has been exhibiting in galleries and institutions internationally, notably in Paris, Avignon, London, Venice, Milan, Berlin and Luxembourg.
