Between abstract and figurative, Véronique Le Gall questions, transforms, and seeks the sublime in the beauty of landscapes. Her plant allegories invite us on inner journeys.
French artist, born in Burkina Faso (Africa), having spent a large part of her adolescence in French Guiana. Today, she lives and works in Paris. Her passion for painting led her, from from 1994, to pursue simultaneously and with the same enthusiasm, his career as a journalist and his studies painting and drawing in the fine arts workshops of the city of Paris. Since 2021, she has devoted herself fully dedicated to his artistic activity and participates in both group and solo exhibitions at Paris as well as in the provinces. Some of his works have entered private collections in France and in one of them was acquired internationally by private individuals and one of them was acquired by a law firm in Paris.
Véronique paints with acrylics on large canvases, either loose or mounted on frames. She has an affinity for the plant world, which she questions in her abstract works that are consciously inspired or unconsciously from his encounters with nature, his dreams, his memories and his wanderings.
Through her plant allegories, she travels the world, remembers, and creates, allowing herself to be imbued by the memory of the senses, and through a flow of visual, olfactory, and emotionally charged memories.
