Julie Panch

Julie Punch is a contemporary painter whose work explores themes of identity, freedom, displacement, and psychological resilience. Originally from Russia, she currently lives and works in France.

As an LGBTQ+ refugee forced to leave her home country due to war and political repression, Julia draws upon personal experience to investigate the emotional consequences of migration, belonging, and self-discovery. Her paintings often examine the relationship between the individual and society, reflecting on how political and social realities shape inner life.

Through intimate narratives and symbolic imagery, her work invites viewers to engage with questions of memory, vulnerability, hope, and the search for meaning in times of uncertainty.
