Tyllia Boehm captures the truth of human interactions. Between Pop art and street art, her faces with saturated colors and black lines are raw and vibrant emotional mirrors.
Born from an instinctive and visceral approach, Tyllia Boehm is a French painter whose visual universe oscillates between Pop art, street art and neo-expressionism.
For Tyllia, painting is a collective therapy, an intimate prism that becomes universal. Through her canvases, she explores a vast emotional spectrum: from pure joy to suffering, from heartbreak to illness, from excitement to profound sadness. What she experiences first becomes a mirror for others. Through the canvas, without the need for words, she invites the viewer to feel, to resonate with their own vulnerabilities, and sometimes, to heal a piece of their soul.
Her works do not seek to be agreeable. Whether they evoke a pleasant or profoundly unsettling feeling, their ultimate goal is to awaken something within the viewer. To shake things up, to jolt them, simply to remind us that we are alive. Visually, this urgency to exist is translated into powerful faces with thick black lines and saturated colors, capturing the raw truth of human interaction.
A career rooted in reality. Very active on the Toulouse art scene, Tyllia Boehm has held numerous solo exhibitions in Toulouse (La galerie Palladion, etc.) and has garnered critical acclaim, winning several awards and press articles. Recently, she was invited to renovate the murals of the legendary Toulouse establishment, infusing them with her raw, graphic energy.
