Biography
Coline Chevis is an illustrator and comic book author. Her work explores the links between the living, landscapes, and documentary narratives, through a practice mixing watercolor, ink, and gouache.
In 2019, following volunteer work in a nature reserve, she created a first reportage comic book on the migration of birds. This experience marked the beginning of a collaboration with the LPO and has permanently guided her artistic approach, which combines observation of nature, scientific popularization, and drawn narration.
Her illustrations give a central place to the animal world and ecosystems, in a sensitive approach where naturalist precision meets a poetic gaze. Her work has also been presented in several collective exhibitions, notably Les Loups at the Galerie Philippe Gelot (Paris, 2024) and Robots and Humans at the Friches et Nous La Paix gallery (Paris, 2025), where she explores other imaginaries while maintaining her singular graphic writing.
In 2025, she publishes a new comic book in partnership with the LPO, dedicated to migratory birds and nature reserves. It will be released in May 2026, confirming her commitment to transmitting knowledge about the living world through drawing.
