Caroline Ottavi

When she was little, Caroline Bocquet enjoyed sitting on her grandfather's lap as he let her maneuver the steering wheel of a gleaming DS, in the yard of her farm.

Perhaps it is not a coincidence that her first painted hoods are those of Citroën DS, and that since always, she has been passionate about old mechanics…

When, painting on canvas, for more than a decade, she wishes to correlate her pictorial style with the support, what better than car bodies to evoke the speed and movement that characterize her painting?

This is how she decides to revisit old cars.
