Biography

Pascale Morelot-Palu is an artist with a unique journey. Architect-artist, she takes a passionate look at walls, their material, their history and the notion of verticality which she explores without limit.

"Pascale Morelot-Palu, the fascination of walls.

(…) Pascale Morelot-Palu paints with the emotion of a painter and the tools of a mason. Leaning over the surface of her canvas laid flat, she erects “verticals side by side". A wall absorbs its food, it drinks, sweats, tarnishes, weakens and collapses. (…) Walls, like memory, keep, absorb, record everything. Painting walls, listening to walls, passing through walls, it's the irrepressible reverie that has always inhabited him. (…)" Ileana Cornea, Art Critic – 2015.

Present in numerous collections in France, Pascale Morelot-Palu has also exhibited for several years in China and Korea.

“The affirmation of his style lies in the tangible and visual restitution of his intimate torments and his joys through the secret language of colors." Iléana Cornéa, 2019
