Biography

Awarded the Gold Prize and the Yoshitomo Nara Prize at GEISAI, founded by Takashi Murakami, Sakurako Hamaguchi creates paintings that bring to life the half-formed dreams and memories we carry from childhood. Her works are included in the public collection of The National Museum of Art, Osaka. Her work has been exhibited at major Japanese institutions including The National Museum of Art, Osaka and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.

Education: Kyoto Saga University of Arts.
